This one offers you 4 basic mounts, a hidden griffon mount plus the racing mount and the ultimate flying mount both required Living World which you can farm gold and buy each episodes. This expansion is very casual friendly for tho who don't have much time to play and Part of Fire also has most of the best Elite Specialaztion in game.
You get the first mount (Raptor) by playing through the first story chapter. 3 other mounts (Springer, Skimmer and Jackal) are unlocked throughout the PoF maps. Griffon is a "hidden" mount that is unlocked through a collection that requires finishing the PoF story and 250 gold. The Roller Beetle mount requires LW Season 4 Episode 3.
Though I now mostly resort to Skyscale for climbing/flying around, Griffon for (fast) flying long distance and the rollerbeetle for speedy ground travel. I suppose the only ones I don't use as much anymore are the raptor and the springer.
- Get to 100, get into Dalaran, unlock 1st artifact and open your Class Hall. Naturally you'll be directed to one of the starting zones in Broken Isles. - Go there and level to 101 (or level inside dungeons, just hit 101) - Get back to your order hall and get the remaining 2 artifacts (you'll want the skins) and just do all Order Hall quests.
not being to able in mount in combat is a way to stop people just rushing through things and ignoring encounters, its pretty much the issue a lot of mmos have with their flying mounts. How the skyscale will work we will see but I assume the mounting in combat will be on a cooldown, at least I hope so.
zDvgOSA. The Mount Energy Booster module for your Jade Bot increases your energy regeneration, which indirectly increases the movement speed of most mounts, but there's no way to increase their default running speed. I believe there is precisely one speed boost that works on mounts -- on sandswept isles, if you ride for a long time in a straight line on
The mount is definitely worth it as it's the best thing I have ever got in this game. It's a complete game changer when fully mastered, and the people that act like it isn't great probably just don't correctly learn how to use it because I too thought the mount was mediocre when I first tried the borrowed one in dragonfall.
Hopefully this is as close to gryphon flying in GW2 as it looks it is. If yes, it won't be true flight - which is totally fine, but i do hope we get infinite flight at some point. Another thing: ever wonder how World PVP would look like if our flying mounts had stamina bar so you couldn't stay in air 24/7? Think about it. Comment by Ceredathrus

Mounts and not having them and in particular the Griffon and Skyscale make the maps that we see today more like a chore than enjoyment. I felt like I absolutely have to rush to get the flying mounts in order to not get frustrated with the extreme verticality throughout the maps. This goes for all of them since Heart of Thorns has been released.
Debating whats faster? Having a hard time in the deep sea without a water mount? In this video we go over the most approachable mounts for beginners, hope it
