Personally when playing Episode 2 with the Gnome i try to jam this prop of a tub thingy into the car. Doing this is a lot more reliable. Lol okay so basically, there’s this gnome at the very start of ep2 (after the train crash) and you need to take it through the entire game until you reach the rocket ship in which you need to put it into the open hatch. You need to make sure that it doesnt break, and make sure its all the way into the space capsule. I was missing a few in HL2 and ep1, but I managed to get 22/22 achievements in ep2 back between 2007 and 2010. I now have all of the cheevos in hl2 and ep1, but I can't seem to get Gnome Alone to unlock. The guides all say "start the game and get the achievment" but I've had no dice with that so far. I dunno what I have to do. Half-Life: Alyx is great. One of the best virtual reality games I’ve ever played and one of my favourite games of 2020.Hard to improve on that. It was aboard its Electron rocket that New honorary achievement for Gnome Chompski's upcoming journey into space on Rocket Lab's "Return To Sender" mission. EDIT: The same achievement was also added to episode 2. EDIT 2: Apparently this has to do with Gabe Newell launching a real gnome into space to raise money for New Zealand charity. Here's a link. EDIT 3: Also added to L4D2. I put the Gnome in the rocket in Our Mutual Friend, launched the rocket in T-Minus One, even sat through the credits, and I didn't get it. Please help. Showing 1 - 2 of 2 comments the gnome is coming to kill you it does feel like that like i get it is a joke but really giving us a 8% players achevement when i boot it up it is creepy #2 Gnome Chompski was originally found in the 2007 game Half Life 2: Episode 2. Known then as the Garden Gnome, it had to be carried throughout the length of the game in order for the player to earn the "Little Rocket Man" achievement. The Gnome then reappeared in the 2009 game Left 4 Dead 2 where he was given the name Gnome Chompski. if you took it from desinc, he didn't actually explain the steps you have to do. what you really have to do is go to the top of the elevator and dislodge the pickaxe without touching the panel. this causes it to float in mid-air, after that get in the elevator and position the pickaxe so it collides with the panel and that should fuck the
